Avaza is a cloud-based unified work management solution designed to help teams perform. With a nice off the shelf experience, and a very usable and understood layout. Avaza's first impressions are strong and we see why many users like it. If we dig a bit deeper we find the platform needs a few updates, and with these updates, it could make Avaza an even more powerful platform. Avaza is a work manage cloud business platform that is clean and easy to use. It has the goal of unifying teams and making them productive!

We notice there is a good off the shelf menu system. This menu has Contacts, Chat, Projects, My Tasks, Team Schedule, My Schedule Timesheets, Expenses, Quotes./Estimates, Invoices, Reports, Help and Settings.

There is a range of options available within each area that connect well with how users complete work.

What’s great about tools like Avaza is that you don’t have to think about content on forms and menu systems. Avaza has thought and you simply use what is there.

The Avaza support section is really good and provides a clear knowledge base to search for functionality. We also found the reports area nice to select a range of preset reports that provide the information you need.

We notice some good developer options and the app marketplace has a few apps, Insightly, Salesforce, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Dropbox, Stripe and PayPal

For developers, the API reference is quite detailed and contains nice clear information about the API methods and webhooks.

One thing we do notice that users may also notice is that the overall design of the system appears a little dated and we can tell by the way the system works between desktop and app, as well as how reports are displayed, the integrations use an iFrame to embed from another platform and a few other techniques that we think are considered dated. But this does not impact the overall clean user experience.

Another area we notice may need a little more updating is security and privacy. There is information about GDPR. However limited information about other privacy and security certifications. Having this made public will assure and back up claims of providing a highly secure platform.

Making just a few small updates, we feel this would catapult Avaza as a top recommended product, and a recent post by Avaza may back this up.

With that in mind, we feel Avaza still offers a very usable system for users that want an off the shelf experience. But with an updated platform will this be the product you want to use in 2022?
